“He is recovering well and eagerly anticipating his return to San Antonio shortly, in addition to continuing his U.S. tour,” stated his manager in a recent announcement.
Carlos Santana has postponed an upcoming concert in San Antonio, Texas, due to a dehydration issue, as confirmed by his manager Michael Vrionis.
Santana was set to perform at the Majestic Theatre as part of his Oneness tour. “It brings me great disappointment to announce that tonight’s performance in San Antonio has been postponed. Mr. Santana was present at the venue preparing for the concert when he experienced dehydration,” Vrionis reported. “Given the circumstances and Mr. Santana’s well-being, we felt it was best to postpone the event.” He reassured fans that Santana is “doing well and is looking forward to returning to San Antonio soon and continuing his U.S. tour,” with plans to reschedule the concert shortly.

Earlier this year in January, Santana pushed back the beginning of his Las Vegas residency following a “significant fall” that resulted in a broken finger on his left hand. At that time, Vrionis indicated that it would take roughly six weeks for Santana to recover enough to perform.
This month, Santana has planned Oneness tour performances in Sugar Land, Thackerville, Tulsa, and Nashville, before heading to New Orleans in early May for its annual Jazz Festival. Additionally, he is set to resume his Las Vegas residency on May 14 and will then embark on a European tour during the summer months.
