Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher Make a Glamorous Return to the Red Carpet

Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher recently made a splendid appearance on the red carpet, marking a joyful return to public events.

On March 19, the couple attended the Opry 100: A Live Celebration in Nashville, an event dedicated to honoring the rich history and influence of the Grand Ole Opry in the country music genre.

Underwood, 42, dazzled in a strapless black evening gown that featured a sheer overlay and intricate metallic beading. Complementing her outfit, she wore stylish black drop earrings and styled her straight blonde hair elegantly behind her ears. Fisher, 44, maintained a classic look in a dark suit, showcasing a timeless elegance alongside his wife.

The live special, hosted by Blake Shelton, spotlighted the importance of the iconic Nashville venue, reflecting on its century-long legacy in shaping country music. A teaser clip shared by the event features notable country artists such as Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, and Brad Paisley, who spoke on the profound significance of the Opry.

Ballerini expressed her admiration for the venue, stating, “You just walk into the Opry House and you feel the history and the richness of the stories and the people that have made country music what it is.” Luke Combs added to this sentiment, emphasizing the honor of performing on such a prestigious stage—”Getting to be here and standing on the stage that everyone has dreamed of standing a million times, and getting to say you’re a part of that, is a badge of honor.”

Underwood and Fisher, who have been married since 2010 and are parents to two sons, were last seen together on the red carpet at the 56th annual CMA Awards in November 2022.

At that awards ceremony, Underwood impressed in a flowing blue gown that showcased various textured fabrics, off-the-shoulder sleeves, and a daring high slit, while Fisher opted for a sophisticated deep blue suit paired with a crisp white shirt and black tie.

During the CMA Awards, Underwood received nominations for three prestigious honors: Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Musical Event of the Year for her collaboration with Jason Aldean on “If I Didn’t Love You.”
