Carrie Underwood Thanks Fans at Conclusion of Las Vegas Residency
Carrie Underwood commenced her Las Vegas residency, titled Reflection, in December 2021.
Carrie Underwood concluded her highly acclaimed Las Vegas residency, Reflection, with a final performance on April 12 at the Resorts World Theatre, marking the end of a three-year engagement. The artist treated fans to an exhilarating 90-minute show that included beloved hits such as Cowboy Casanova, Before He Cheats, and Church Bells. During her last concert, she expressed gratitude to her supporters and the musicians accompanying her, reflecting on the memorable journey she has experienced. She described the residency as a “roller coaster ride,” highlighting the visually stunning aspects of the performances, which showcased vibrant costumes and elaborate stage designs. Her closing number, Something in the Water, left a lasting impression on the audience, who were treated to an unforgettable farewell.
According to reports from People, Underwood became emotional during the finale, stating, “We are extremely blessed to be able to be on this stage. There are so many turns of events I know in my life, and I’m sure in these guys’ lives, that only God could have opened those doors and got me to the next place. It’s been really incredible to be on that roller coaster ride, and definitely recognise that it’s all Him and just all blessings. It has been an absolute honour to get to be on this stage. From all of us, we are so blessed. I’m gonna be reflecting on all that we’ve done here with you guys.”
In the lead-up to her final Reflection show, Underwood shared her appreciation for the stability of performing at a single venue over the past three years. She noted that having a residency with 72 shows at the Resorts World Theatre provided her with a level of comfort and flexibility that a traditional touring schedule could not offer.
The Grammy-winning artist remarked, “I have always loved touring, but having the chance to play for an extended period of time in one place has really been satisfying. I love that we get to do this show for people who have come to Las Vegas from all over the world. We always like to bring big production values to our show, but Reflection really allowed us to take that to a new level. We have some amazing set pieces that we could never pack onto trucks and move from city to city every night, and it’s been really fun adding more elements like the aerialists and dancers, which we don’t usually have in the show.”
When she began her Reflection shows in December 2021, Carrie Underwood made history as the inaugural artist to perform at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas.
