This innovative Broadway rendition, infused with jazz and inspired by New Orleans, features the original music by Arthur Sullivan and libretto by W.S. Gilbert. The adaptation comes from Rupert Holmes, with orchestrations crafted by Joseph Joubert and Daryl Waters. The musical direction is also in the hands of Joubert, while Warren Carlyle handles the choreography, and Scott Ellis takes on the directing role.

Other notable performances come from Nicholas Barasch (Frederic), Preston Truman Boyd (Sullivan/Police Sergeant), and Samantha Williams (Mabel Stanley). The ensemble further includes talented performers such as Kelly Belarmino, Maria Briggs, Cicily Daniels, and many others.
