Fraternity Members Relieved as Celebrities Cover Costs

The recent performance by The Chainsmokers at Arizona State University, which attracted the attention of local authorities, was not without its fair share of challenges. Members of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, known as FIJI, shared with TMZ that the planning process was a frantic ordeal from the very beginning.
Initially, the fraternity had secured a different venue for the event; however, their plans were derailed by a plumbing issue that resulted in significant flooding just days prior to the scheduled bash. This unexpected setback forced them to quickly relocate and set up equipment in a new space.
In a surprising twist, the event’s details were still being finalized a mere 16 hours before it kicked off. Compounding the situation, law enforcement arrived at the scene even before the festivities officially commenced.
In terms of consequences, the fraternity received a citation from the police, but fortunately for them, The Chainsmokers’ members, Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, agreed to cover the costs associated with the fine. Reports indicate that this fine could have ranged from $1,000 to $2,500, a significant relief for the fraternity.
Despite the myriad of obstacles, Jonas McAllister, the individual responsible for coordinating the celebrity appearance through his booking agency, expressed satisfaction about how everything ultimately materialized. He indicated that the experience was successful enough that they would not hesitate to organize a similar event in the future.
What began in disarray transformed into an exhilarating concert experience, with The Chainsmokers delivering an impressive hour-and-a-half performance, energizing the crowd and creating memorable moments for the attendees. Well done, Sun Devils!
