Russell Wilson is returning to the Empire State.
Just a year after joining the Pittsburgh Steelers on a one-year contract, the 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback has inked another one-year deal, this time worth $10.5 million with the New York Giants, as reported by the NFL on March 25.
Celebrating the announcement, his wife, Ciara, expressed her excitement and support via Instagram Stories. She shared Wilson’s post featuring MetLife Stadium, the Giants’ home ground, where he previously celebrated a Super Bowl win with the Seattle Seahawks in 2014. “Been here before… can’t wait to do it again,” Wilson remarked, reflecting on his past achievements at the venue.

Ciara also shared another Instagram Story image featuring Wilson in New York Yankees attire, a nod to his brief connection with the team in 2018. “New York State of Mind,” she captioned the post, highlighting her admiration for her husband.
During his time with the Steelers, the 36-year-old quarterback recorded 2,482 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, five interceptions, and achieved a passer rating of 96.5. As the Giants reshape their roster for the upcoming season, they have also secured Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston on a two-year deal and hold the third overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft in April.
Russell Wilson and Ciara, who married in 2016, are parents to three children: Sienna Princess, aged seven; Win Harrison, aged four; and Amora Princess, aged one. Ciara also has a ten-year-old son, Future Zahir, from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
