We’re excited to announce that the CMF Phone 2 Pro has arrived and is ready for our review!
The first Pro model from Nothing’s CMF sub-brand comes in at a starting price of €250/£220/₹19,000 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option. For those needing extra space, the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant is available for €280/£250/₹21,000, with the option to purchase for $280 in the US through the Beta Program.
Our model features a Light Green finish, though it leans more towards a light blue shade. Included in the package are a USB-C cable, a transparent case, and a SIM eject tool.
At first glance, the phone is notably lightweight, a characteristic inherent to its design. This likely stems from the use of plastic materials for both the back panel and the frame, which, despite their lightweight feel, provide a solid and durable construction. The device also boasts an IP54 rating, ensuring dust resistance and protection against water splashes.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro showcases a remarkable 6.77-inch AMOLED display that supports HDR10+, featuring a resolution of 1080p. It can achieve a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz, all safeguarded by Panda Glass.
Under the hood is the powerful 4nm Dimensity 7300 Pro processor paired with 8GB of RAM, promising swift performance along with a distinctively designed Android interface. Users will also have the option to select a Classic Android skin during the setup process.
One of the standout features is the Essential key, positioned just below the power button on the right side of the device with a unique, rounded design. A double press from any screen leads users to the Essential Space, an AI-enhanced area dedicated to notes and quick access. Holding down the key allows users to launch an Essential voice memo, which is stored within the Essential Space, although its functionality cannot be customized.
