What you need to know
The newly launched CMF Phone 2 Pro is redefining budget smartphones with its contemporary design and striking color options. Equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, and a robust 5000mAh battery, this device promises durability and efficiency for users who rely on their phones throughout the day. Additionally, CMF has rolled out a new range of earbuds: Buds 2 aimed at casual listeners, Buds 2 Plus catering to audio enthusiasts, and Buds 2a designed for those seeking budget-friendly options without sacrificing bass quality.
CMF by Nothing is making a strong comeback, unveiling not just the CMF Phone 2 Pro but also a new selection of earbuds: Buds 2, Buds 2 Plus, and Buds 2a.
Nothing is breaking the mold by delivering budget phones that feel fresh and appealing. This is evident in the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which deviates from the typical uninspired designs of many competitors. Its lightweight build and vibrant colors aim to attract consumers who want more than just basic functionality.
The CMF sub-brand allows Nothing to maintain lower prices while preserving its unique aesthetic appeal.

Internally, the phone is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip, complemented by a generous 6.77-inch AMOLED screen that achieves an impressive brightness of 3000 nits. Coupled with a substantial 5000mAh battery, users can enjoy extended periods of heavy use without the constant need for charging.
Lighter, faster, and just plain cooler
The design of the CMF Phone 2 Pro marks a significant upgrade. At a mere 7.8mm thick and weighing just 185g, it stands as the lightest offering from Nothing to date.
The device features an aluminum frame complemented by sleek stainless-steel accents. Additionally, its improved water resistance, now with an IP54 rating, surpasses that of the previous model.
This phone’s camera system is particularly noteworthy. The upgraded 50MP main camera now captures 64% more light compared to earlier versions, enhancing image quality significantly. Alongside it, a telephoto lens offers a 20x digital zoom, while an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 16MP front-facing camera provide versatility in photography.
In terms of aesthetics, the Phone 2 Pro introduces a more distinct camera layout with separate lenses rather than a singular module. It boasts a triple-lens configuration, although it remains uncertain if a simplified version with just two lenses will also be available. The dual-tone finish on the back adds to its visual appeal, particularly in white.
The device comes in four color options: Black, White, Orange, and Light Green. The vibrant orange back is especially eye-catching, accentuating the phone’s standout screws, and the signature rotating dial at the bottom remains a unique design feature.
Interestingly, this release skips a standard model once again, mirroring the trend observed with previous models. The CMF Phone 2 Pro launches without an accompanying CMF Phone 2.
The buds trio
In conjunction with the CMF Phone 2 Pro, Nothing has introduced a versatile collection of wireless earbuds tailored for various budgets and audio preferences. The Buds 2 are designed for regular use, featuring Dirac Opteo for enhanced sound quality, 48dB hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, and Spatial Audio capabilities.
For serious audiophiles, the Buds 2 Plus deliver high-resolution audio with LDAC support and customizable equalizer settings. For those on a tighter budget, the Buds 2a offer commendable 42dB Active Noise Cancellation and impactful bass.
