Acer PD1520Us: Compact Projector with Impressive FeaturesSupports Full HD 1080p with 4K CapabilityInstant Power with LED Light Source
Acer has introduced the PD1520Us, a lightweight ultra-short throw (UST) projector that weighs only 740 grams, possibly making it the smallest projector of its kind currently on the market.
Despite its compact size, the PD1520Us can produce vibrant 100-inch images from mere centimeters away, providing an excellent solution for both business presentations and entertainment scenarios. Furthermore, it is mercury-free, positioning it as an eco-friendly option, especially important as UST projectors gain traction in corporate environments.
This projector boasts a full HD 1080p resolution alongside compatibility for 4K output, ensuring high-quality visuals. Its impressive lifespan of up to 30,000 hours means it can offer long-term use without frequent replacements. Features such as autofocus and automatic 2D keystone correction ensure that images remain sharp and undistorted. In terms of connectivity, the projector provides options like HDMI 2.0, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, and it supports iOS as well as screen mirroring capabilities.
No Wait Time and Environmentally Friendly
The PD1520Us operates using an LED light source that eliminates the need for prolonged warm-up or cooling periods, allowing users to turn the projector on and off instantly.
For those seeking portability, Acer also offers a 5200mAh battery kit, enabling approximately two hours of uninterrupted operation away from traditional power sources. This projector integrates a smart platform that lets users download applications and stream a variety of content directly to the device.
The projected price for the PD1520Us is €699, with plans for release in EMEA markets set for March 2025. Optional accessories, which include a €99 battery kit and a €199 interactive module, will also be available.
At CES 2025, several announcements in the UST projector space caught attention, including JMGO’s O2S Ultra, which is also competing for the title of the world’s smallest UST projector.
