Have you ever felt like your Pals won’t stay put in their designated Spheres in Palworld? Fortunately, Pocketpair, the game’s developer, has introduced new items known as Sphere Modules. These upgrades are designed to enhance your capture abilities and are essential for players seeking to improve their gameplay experience.
What are Sphere Modules?
Sphere Modules serve as enhancements for your Pal Spheres, influencing the path of the orb during throws while boosting the likelihood of successfully capturing wild Pals. Each module type provides unique benefits; some allow for better tracking of creatures, while others add a slight curve to the Sphere’s flight. Regardless of their specific functions, all modules share a common goal: increasing your chances of capturing a Pal.
Players can equip only one Sphere Module at a time. Similar to other equipment in the game, these items must be placed in a designated equipment slot before their benefits take effect. Once equipped, the module modifies all Pal Spheres used, independent of their respective levels.
You can find the Sphere Module slot located beneath the Glider option on your character screen.
All Sphere Modules in Palworld, their effects, and how to get them
As of the Feybreak update released on December 23, six Sphere Modules are available in Palworld. To access these items, players must progress through the Technology tree to the levels associated with each module. Once you unlock the respective crafting recipe, you can create Sphere Modules at a Sphere Workbench or a Sphere Assembly Line using a Pal that specializes in Handiwork.
Below is a list of the current Sphere Modules available in Palworld, along with the necessary levels for unlocking them and the materials needed for crafting.
How to equip a Sphere Module
Equipping a Sphere Module is similar to adding a Glider or food item. If you pick up a Sphere Module without one already equipped, the game will automatically assign it for you. To replace an existing module with another, follow these steps:
- Open your inventory by pressing the Tab key or the corresponding menu button on your controller.
- Hover over the Sphere Module you wish to equip.
- Right-click on your mouse or press Y or Triangle on your controller.
- The Sphere Module will then move into the appropriate slot.
Sphere Modules are not the only new elements introduced in the Feybreak update. Players also received a Sphere Critical feature, a Pal Expedition system, numerous new species, an additional island to explore, and more.
