Excitement on The Price Is Right: Contestant Wins Car
A recent episode of The Price Is Right featured a thrilling moment when contestant Celida celebrated her victory with an exuberant shout after winning a car. She expressed her excitement while perched inside the vehicle, joyfully exclaiming, “Come on down!”
Celida secured her position in Bidder’s Row during the episode aired on April 10, by placing a bid of $1,250 on a 55-inch outdoor television set. Despite the actual retail price being $2,799, her bid was the highest, which earned her the opportunity to win a brand new car.
Competing in the game “That’s Too Much,” Celida aimed to win a sleek 2025 Aero Grey Crystal Mazda CX-30 S. The objective of this game is for contestants to identify the price that exceeds the car’s value, but they must do so in a single attempt without reverting to previous guesses.
After navigating through five price options, Celida confidently declared to host Drew Carey, “That’s too much!” when she reached the price of $31,712. With the actual price of the car being $31,450, she emerged victorious as her declaration came before exceeding the correct amount.
Upon realizing her win, Celida erupted into joyful screams and animatedly jumped up and down, expressing her excitement by kicking her feet and raising her arms in celebration. She rushed over to hug Carey, who then redirected her attention to the car and the model Amber.
As the show wrapped up, Celida beamed with excitement while stepping into her new vehicle. “Oh my God!” she cried, standing proudly in her new car. She encouraged the crowd with another cheerful “Come on down!” and concluded her moment by blowing a kiss to the audience before sitting down and exclaiming in disbelief, “I don’t believe it! Whoa!”
Responses from viewers on social media highlighted the excitement of her win. One user expressed, “Loved how she screamed for joy. Congrats Celida!” while another remarked, “She played perfectly!”
In addition to her car win, Celida showcased remarkable skill during the Showcase Showdown where she spun a 70, the highest score of the evening. She placed a bid of $47,000 on a package that included a massage chair with Bluetooth speakers, a five-night trip to Alaska with airfare, and a 2025 Snow White Pearl Kia Niro LX. However, the total price of the showcase was $40,878, resulting in both Celida and her opponent going over their bids, ultimately leaving the prizes unclaimed. Still, she left the night as the biggest winner, accumulating a total of $34,249 in winnings.
