Famous gaming YouTuber CoryxKenshin has made a triumphant return to the platform after being inactive for over a year, revealing that he has been creatively working on a new manga throughout his time away.
With more than 19 million subscribers, CoryxKenshin has earned a massive following due to his engaging humor, gameplay of horror titles, and his popular ‘Spooky Scary Sunday’ reaction series to short horror videos.
In addition to his YouTube fame, Cory made a cameo in Blumhouse’s 2023 film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy’s. However, after this debut, he went into a social media blackout that lasted for months.
After a long wait of more than a year and a half since his last video, fans were eager for updates. On December 13, 2024, Cory finally shared new content, updating his community about his current endeavors.
CoryxKenshin finally returns to YouTube over a year later
In a surprising video, CoryxKenshin announced his upcoming manga series, ‘Monsters We Make,’ which primarily served as an exciting promotion for the project.
Viewers were treated to an animated trailer showcasing a battle between futuristic characters and massive alien creatures. The series is set to officially launch on December 16.
Details about the manga remain scarce, but fans can visit its official website to get updates leading up to its release.
Cory expressed his excitement, saying, “I hope you’ve been well over this long period of time of us not seeing each other. Except for at the zoo. More on that later.”
He humorously referenced an incident in August when fans at a zoo spotted him and filmed their enthusiastic pleas for him to return to content creation.
