Country Star Darryl Worley’s Daughter Injured in Nashvile Car Accident

In a heartbreaking incident, Darryl Worley, a well-known country music artist, revealed that his 16-year-old daughter, Savannah, was airlifted to a Nashville hospital following a serious car accident. Worley shared the news on his Facebook page, urging fans to offer prayers for his family and all those involved.

Worley was in New Mexico performing when he received the distressing news from his wife, Kimberly Lee Perkins, informing him that Savannah had been in a critical accident and was being flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center. He expressed his anxiety and sadness, stating, “She has a broken leg, bruises, and lacerations! Please pray for her and pray I can get home to be with my baby girl and Kimberly! Also pray for the lady in the other car!”

The accident involved a two-car collision, and Worley did not share specific details regarding the circumstances surrounding the crash. However, he did post pictures showing the significant damage to both vehicles, highlighting the severity of the incident.

On Tuesday, amidst a challenging wait, Worley shared a more hopeful update, posting a photo of Savannah smiling in her hospital bed. He wrote, “It may be raining today but my sunshine is awake with a little smile on her face!!” He expressed gratitude, recognizing a positive shift in her condition over the days, along with confidence in God’s protection during this ordeal.

A representative from the Nashville Police Department confirmed they could not provide any additional details about the crash currently. Meanwhile, Savannah’s mother and Worley’s wife, Kimberly, was by their daughter’s side at the hospital.

The other driver involved in the accident has not been publicly named, but her daughter, Allison, indicated that her mother was in stable condition after being airlifted as well. Allison described the situation as a difficult nightmare and emphasized the need for prayers for both families affected by the unfortunate event.

Worley’s family has faced a series of hardships in recent years, including the loss of their barn to a fire earlier in 2023. Thankfully, their barn animals were able to escape unharmed. Additionally, Kimberly had to undergo surgery after breaking her arm in a separate incident this past August.
