Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo End Their Relationship in Southern Charm Season Finale

Southern Charm season 10 concluded on March 20, marking the end of Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo’s three-year relationship.

During the finale, viewers witnessed a reflective moment as Craig, 36, joined castmates Austen Kroll and Shep Rose to discuss the breakup. The conversation took place in January, following the festive Thanksgiving he had celebrated with Paige, 32.

Craig recounted the events leading up to their split, stating, “Everything felt normal at her parents’… then a couple weeks later she called me and was like, ‘We gotta talk.'” Austen inquired about the timing of the call, which Craig confirmed occurred before Christmas.

He described his shock during their conversation, saying, “I can’t believe this is happening… It was really calm. She’s like, ‘I need to find myself.’ She expressed needing to take control of her life again and suggested they break up.”

Craig expressed regret over not being able to confide in Austen about the breakup, fearing that it would become public knowledge. He admitted to holding back because he wasn’t ready to accept the reality of the situation.

Paige addressed the split later on her podcast, Giggly Squad, revealing that she had made the announcement in late December.

Earlier in the same episode, Craig mentioned his intentions to propose to Paige in 2024 and confirmed to Austen and Shep that he had purchased an engagement ring for her. “She asked me to buy her a ring and I did,” he said. Craig had gone to New York to design the ring but noted that Paige later requested he hold off on the proposal, which he speculated could have indicated her growing anxiety about their future.

Additionally, he shared his willingness to relocate to New York at Paige’s request, noting her desire to raise children in Manhattan. Craig reflected on her concerns, quoting her realization that he might hold resentment over such a move, as it differed significantly from his life in Charleston, South Carolina.

Craig described their relationship as extraordinary, highlighting their strong friendship, love, and mutual fulfillment in various aspects of their life together. “We just checked so many boxes that you’re like, where am I going to find… how are we giving this up?” he expressed, conveying his feelings of loss even though Paige was still alive.

In the latest episode of Summer House: After Show, Paige reflected on the relationship with newfound clarity. She conveyed her realization that her affection for Craig sometimes led her to tolerate too much. “Any time I had like a career milestone, he found a way to make it about him,” Paige remarked, finding it embarrassing now that she looked back on it.

Paige concluded her thoughts by acknowledging how she felt blinded by love and the effort she had to undertake for personal recovery.

Part 1 of the Southern Charm reunion will air on March 27 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
