Despite numerous reports from the player community, developers of Black Ops 6 have not resolved a major glitch affecting the Zombies mode, which leaves players trapped outside the game boundaries.
The introduction of the Amalgam enemy in Black Ops 6 Zombies has drawn mixed reactions from gamers. This formidable enemy appears in the Terminus and Citadelle des Morte maps, but its grab attack often disrupts player navigation.
Players have reported issues since November, specifically highlighting a problem where the Amalgam’s grabbing mechanism hurls them into areas they cannot escape. Although developers promised a fix shortly after these reports emerged, the glitch has persisted, significantly hindering Zombies gameplay experiences.
Amalgam Glitch Instantly Ruins Black Ops 6 Zombies Runs
In a recent Reddit post, one player shared an encounter with what they described as a “new out of bounds Amalgam spot” on the Terminus map. In their gameplay clip, the player was attacked by an Amalgam in the Holding Cells area.
The strike from the elite enemy inexplicably pushed the player through a previously unaccessible door. While they could continue to engage the undead for experience points from the other side, they found themselves trapped without a clear escape route, ultimately needing to save their progress and exit the game.
Other members of the community have corroborated these experiences, with one user commenting, “Yeah, that bug didn’t get ‘patched,’ as they claimed. I still get pulled off the map occasionally.” Discussions about the bug have also surfaced on social media platforms like TikTok, where players share similar experiences of being stuck due to the Amalgam’s mechanics, leading to frustration.
