Cynthia Erivo Announces New Album ‘I Forgive You’
Cynthia Erivo has unveiled the second single from her upcoming album, “I Forgive You,” which is set to launch on June 6th. The new track, titled “Worst of Me,” is available for listening below. Fans are also encouraged to pre-save the album through this link.
In an Instagram announcement made on Thursday, the Tony Award-winning artist reflected on her creative journey over the past two years. “Amid the travel, filming, interviews, and award ceremonies, I collaborated with my dear friend Will Wells to create this project,” Erivo expressed. “This collection of songs is something I’m incredibly proud to share.” This will be her first album since her debut recording, “Ch. 1 Vs. 1,” which was released in 2021. Additionally, the post showcased the album’s official cover art.
In a prior interview, Erivo discussed her unique approach to music creation, emphasizing the innovative vocal techniques she employs. This improvisational style allows her to layer vocal lines seamlessly over melodies, enabling a dynamic music-making process that is both spontaneous and organic.
