Sometimes, taking risks can lead to unexpected outcomes. This was evident during d4vd’s performance at the Coachella Festival, where the 20-year-old artist enthusiastically attempted a backflip from the drum riser, only to find himself crashing down awkwardly instead of executing a flawless move.

Unfortunately for him, d4vd did not reach the desired height and ended up falling onto his side, resulting in an awkward landing that left him humiliated in front of an audience. In comparison, fellow performer Benson Boone showcased impressive acrobatics earlier in the festival weekend, highlighting the stark difference in their stunt executions. D4vd candidly expressed that his attempt felt embarrassing.
In a lighthearted reflection on the incident, he took to social media the following day, stating, “Humiliation ritual complete,” and sharing a humorous image of a serene dog with closed eyes. He added, “see u next week Coachella I love u.” He also shared another video clip from his set where he successfully executed a capoeira-style side flip, exclaiming, “GOT UP AND GOT DA AURA RIGHT BACK HO LMAOOO FUN SET FUN MF SET.”
Undeterred by the mishap, d4vd followed up with a video showcasing his attempt to perfect the backflip stunt, captioning it, “training for the next one [crying laughing emoji].” Meanwhile, fans eagerly await his debut album, Withered, which is set to drop on April 25.
Stay tuned for d4vd’s antics and his progress in perfecting his flips.
