David C Cook has appointed three executives to lead its newly formed divisions as part of an organizational restructuring aimed at enhancing its publishing operations, which encompass books, educational materials, and music. These divisions include books and resources publishing, curriculum and Vacation Bible School materials, and Integrity Music.
Jana Zachman, who has been with David C Cook since 2003 and has progressed through various roles to reach the Chief Operating Officer position, has now been elevated to president. Chadd Miller, who formerly served as divisional president of book publishing, will step into the COO role. Meanwhile, Dan Tancik, who was the COO of Group Publishing prior to its acquisition by David C Cook last fall, will take on the role of chief curriculum officer.
In a statement, CEO Bill Reeves commended the three executives for their distinct strengths and leadership styles, emphasizing their capacity to inspire and guide the organization into the future.
Additionally, the company is actively seeking candidates for two other senior roles: executive publisher for the books and resources division and executive vice president of donor engagement.
