Heavy Metal Collaboration: Deadbody and Tribal Gaze to Release Split LP
For enthusiasts of the heavier side of music, Deadbody from California and Texas-based Tribal Gaze are set to deliver an intense auditory experience with their upcoming split LP. Known for their distinct layers of hardcore and death metal, both bands are poised to unleash a collection of powerful tracks that promise to resonate with fans of extreme music.
Deadbody features the talents of brothers Taylor and Colin Young, who are recognized figures in the Van Nuys music scene, previously associated with notable projects like Twitching Tongues and God’s Hate. Their latest endeavor, Deadbody, captures the raw energy and aggression that defines their sound. On the other hand, Tribal Gaze emerges from the vibrant Dallas music community that has also produced prominent acts such as Power Trip and Frozen Soul, adding to its reputation for hard-hitting bands.
The split LP is scheduled for release on November 15, under the banners of Closed Casket Activities and Maggot Stomp. Early previews of the collaboration have already surfaced, showcasing a blend of gritty riffs and relentless energy. This includes Deadbody’s tracks “Six Shots Saved” and a quick yet impactful piece titled “D.E.A.D.B.O.D.Y.,” alongside Tribal Gaze’s crushing track “Twitching On The Cross.” Recently, Deadbody unveiled another intense track, “Horrors Of The Reformed,” characterized by its guttural sound, while Tribal Gaze contributed a heavy number, “Let His Servants Starved,” which promises to deliver an equally formidable impact.
As the date approaches for the split’s release, the anticipation surrounding it continues to grow. Fans can look forward to an exciting collaboration that embodies the spirit of two thriving underground scenes melding into a brutal sonic experience.
