The aircraft involved was Delta Air Lines Flight 4819, flying from Minneapolis to Toronto, operated by Endeavor Air, a subsidiary of Delta. The flight was carrying 80 individuals, comprised of 76 passengers and four crew members, with 22 passengers being Canadian nationals. This information was provided by Deborah Flint, the president and CEO of Pearson Airport.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. PT. Fortunately, all passengers and crew members were accounted for, and there were no fatalities. Delta reports that 21 individuals were initially transported to hospitals as a precaution, with 19 people released by Tuesday morning.
