Dhanush and Others Congratulate Ajith Kumar on Padma Bhushan Honor

Ajith Kumar has been announced as a recipient of the esteemed Padma Bhushan Award this year, a significant recognition for his contributions to Indian cinema.
Tamil film icon Dhanush expressed his congratulations to Ajith Kumar via social media. On Sunday, he took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to share his heartfelt message. “My hearty congratulations to dear Ajith Sir on being conferred the prestigious Padma Bhushan award. Also congratulating @ashwinravi99 on being the first Tamil Nadu cricketer to receive a Padma Shri. My congratulations to all other Padma awardees who have made the nation proud in their respective fields,” Dhanush wrote.
Famed director SS Rajamouli also took a moment to honor Ajith Kumar, posting on X, “Ajith sir, congratulations on being conferred with the Padma Bhushan! The impact you’ve made both on and off the screen is truly inspiring.”
Actor Vijay Deverakonda joined in the celebrations, sending his best wishes with a touching note: “Wishing my best and sending my respect and hugs to Bala sir, Ajith sir on being honored with the Padma Bhushan award.”
In response to this significant accolade, Ajith Kumar also shared his gratitude on social media, expressing his deep appreciation for the honor. “I am deeply humbled and honored to receive the esteemed Padma Award from the President of India. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu and Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for this prestigious honor. It is a privilege to be recognized at such a level, and I am truly grateful for this generous acknowledgment of my contributions to our nation,” he remarked.
He continued with a personal reflection: “To my family and friends: Your love and support have been both a refuge and a source of strength. Thank you! I wish my late father had lived to see this day. Yet, I like to think he would be proud that his spirit and legacy live on in all that I do. I want to thank my mother for her unconditional love and the sacrifices that enabled me to become all that I could be.”
