Tiffany & Co. Celebrates the Blue Book 2025 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
Last evening, Tiffany & Co. organized a splendid gala dinner at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan to mark the launch of its Blue Book 2025. The iconic jewelry brand has become synonymous with New York City and holds a significant place in American culture since its establishment in 1837.
The elegant dinner was held in the Charles Engelhard Court, where the Neoclassical architecture of the Branch Bank provided a stunning backdrop. Tables were beautifully set with arrangements of pale flowers and Tiffany glassware, while the expansive glass ceilings allowed the night sky to be part of the ambiance. Attendees mingled in the shadow of monumental street lamps crafted by Richard Morris Hunt and neo-classical sculptures created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, posing for photographers in their formal attire. The three-part Garden Landscape window, a masterpiece from the studios of Louis Comfort Tiffany, bathed the room in a warm, inviting glow.
“I would like to warmly welcome you to the 2025 Blue Book Gala Dinner,” stated Anthony Ledru, the brand’s president and Chief Executive Officer. “The Blue Book has been a cherished tradition at Tiffany’s since 1845. It celebrates excellence in craftsmanship and creativity, with perhaps a hint of glamour. Tonight, I hope we can capture that spirit in this extraordinary location.”
Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of Jewelry and High Jewelry, crafted the collection titled Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder, which draws inspiration from the ocean’s mysteries. Each segment of the collection features themes such as seahorses, starfish, and waves, echoing the artistic vision of the celebrated designer Jean Schlumberger, who transformed natural forms into exquisite jewelry pieces.
The atmosphere buzzed with stylish attendees. Anya Taylor-Joy, exuding vintage charm with her platinum hair elegantly styled, wore a striking necklace crafted from 18k white and yellow gold adorned with over 10 carats of diamonds from the new collection, complemented by dazzling diamond earrings. Actress Mikey Madison showed off a breathtaking pendant featuring a Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond that surpassed 18 carats, evoking the brilliance of sunlight. Since her debut in Anora at the Cannes International Film Festival, Madison has risen from a talented newcomer to a celebrated star, recently wearing a historic platinum and diamond Tiffany necklace upon receiving the Best Actress Academy Award. Throughout the evening, she engaged in lively conversation with Cooper Koch, who looked dapper in a polished white double-breasted suit.
