Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Faces Serious Allegations in New Lawsuit
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been named in a lawsuit that alleges multiple forms of abuse, filed in New York City on Tuesday.
The lawsuit, initiated by an anonymous individual referred to as John Doe, describes him as a “Las Vegas-based entertainer with dreams of becoming a musician.” In the legal filing, Combs is accused of making “false promises of career advancement” and using his influence to sexually, physically, and psychologically abuse the plaintiff over the course of five years.
According to the allegations, the plaintiff was hired in 2007 to perform a strip show in a hotel room in Las Vegas, unaware that the client was Combs until he arrived. The accuser claims to have been paid $1,500 for a performance that involved dancing and stripping. Subsequently, the lawsuit states that Combs arranged for two more shows with the unnamed performer.
During these follow-up performances, the lawsuit claims Combs provided beverages to the plaintiff, who accepted them. The filings indicate that Combs requested the plaintiff to apply baby oil to his skin, which he did. However, after applying the oil, the plaintiff experienced symptoms described as “unusually sleepy, disoriented, confused, exhausted, drowsy, weak, and alarmed by the sensation of being trapped in his own body.”
The lawsuit further details that Combs allegedly instructed the plaintiff to participate in various sexual activities while he engaged in intercourse with another woman. The plaintiff reportedly became mentally and physically incapacitated after applying the baby oil, finding himself unable to resist Combs’ demands.
Over time, Combs allegedly encouraged the plaintiff to work solely for him, claiming he could assist in advancing the plaintiff’s music career. This led the accuser to travel to meet Combs in multiple locations, including Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. However, each meeting quickly shifted away from discussions about the plaintiff’s music and instead focused on demands for strip performances.
As per the allegations, Combs would confine the plaintiff and others in a room, which made the accuser feel trapped and fearful, particularly given the presence of a firearm that served as a reminder of Combs’ authority. The lawsuit states that the plaintiff felt he was not free to leave due to the circumstances surrounding these encounters.
The allegations include claims that the plaintiff led to increased drowsiness and fatigue after complying with Combs’ demands for applying baby oil. The filing asserts that if the plaintiff showed any reluctance, Combs would respond with extreme anger, cursing, throwing objects, and behaving violently in the plaintiff’s presence.
Additionally, the lawsuit suggests that Combs installed a hidden camera in the room. Upon finding this device, the plaintiff alleges that Combs threatened to release videos that could damage his reputation if he did not comply with the demands made of him.
The plaintiff reportedly attempted to end this abusive relationship in 2010, but Combs allegedly threatened him with the release of the tapes as a form of coercion. The accuser has stated that he was motivated to come forward by the recent lawsuit filed by Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Casandra Ventura, and is now seeking damages for lost wages, mental suffering, and various other fees and interests related to punitive damages.
