Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently confronted with a new lawsuit laden with serious allegations from a photographer who claims the hip-hop mogul coerced him into performing oral sex and other sexual acts by threatening his professional prospects.
The individual, identified in court documents as John Doe, alleges that their first encounter occurred while he was involved in a commercial shoot during 2022 or 2023. Combs was reportedly present on set for reasons undisclosed and subsequently invited Doe to his trailer under the pretense of a career advancement opportunity.
However, the lawsuit contends that upon Doe’s arrival in the trailer, Combs forcibly undressed him and indicated that career progression was contingent upon Doe performing oral sex. The lawsuit claims that there was a clear suggestion that refusal to comply would culminate in the end of Doe’s career.
According to the allegations, Doe acquiesced to Combs’ demands, and the lawsuit includes graphic descriptions of their encounter. Following this incident, Doe states he had no further communication with Combs.
The lawsuit seeks a jury trial, accusing Combs of sexual battery and requesting compensatory damages, special damages, punitive damages, court costs, and any additional relief the court might consider justifiable.
In response to these allegations, Combs, through his legal representatives, has categorically denied any wrongdoing. “No matter how many lawsuits are filed—especially by individuals who refuse to put their own names behind their claims—it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court,” his lawyers stated.
This latest lawsuit arrives shortly after a judge allowed a separate sexual assault lawsuit against Combs, which seeks $30 million, to advance, although certain claims within that suit were dismissed. Regardless of the outcomes in these lawsuits, Combs continues to face multiple criminal charges and other civil suits, and he is presently in jail awaiting trial in New York.
