Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim Confirm Their Safety Following Pahalgam Terror Attack

Acting couple Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim have assured their fans of their safety after a tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

While enjoying a family holiday in the scenic region of Kashmir with their son Ruhaan, the couple made the announcement following a violent incident in Baisaran valley where a terrorist group, reportedly linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), executed a lethal attack that resulted in the deaths of 27 tourists and injured numerous others.

Prior to the attack, the couple had been actively sharing their experiences on social media, which made their fans more concerned for their safety. Just two days before the tragedy, Dipika had posted a serene video capturing her delightful stroll through Pahalgam’s beautiful landscape, a location fondly referred to as “Mini Switzerland.” This proximity to the attack heightened their followers’ anxiety when news of the violence broke.

In response to the concern, Shoaib took to his Instagram story to provide an update, stating, “Hi guys, U all have been concerned for our well-being… Hum sab safe hain theek hain, aaj hi morning me we left Kashmir.. and we reached Delhi safely… Thank you for all the concern.. New vlog coming soon.”

Shoaib’s prompt update was a relief to their worried fans, confirming they had already departed Kashmir and successfully arrived in Delhi. Additionally, he mentioned that he would soon release a new vlog to share more about their trip.

The attack unfolded around 2:30 PM on Tuesday as tourists were enjoying horseback rides through the meadows of Bainsram. Reports indicate that foreign nationals were also among those impacted by this harrowing event.

In the aftermath, Home Minister Amit Shah briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the incident and is expected to visit Srinagar. Both leaders expressed their commitment to taking stringent action against the perpetrators and ensuring justice. Sources suggest that PM Modi might adjust his schedule in Saudi Arabia to return to India sooner than initially planned.
