Doctor Sai emphasizes that side effects of botox are minor and fully reversible.

Alia Bhatt has recently addressed the swirling rumors regarding her alleged botox treatment.

On Friday, she publicly criticized a “random video” circulating online that suggested she experienced complications from botox. In her remarks, she also condemned sensationalist articles that mock her facial expressions and communication style. The Jigra actress remarked on the unfair scrutiny that women often face, highlighting the negative consequences of such judgment. Concurrently, Dr. Sai Ganapathy, a facial aesthetics expert who created a video discussing Bhatt’s supposed botox mishap, shared insights on the side effects that can arise from such treatments.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Dr. Sai stated, “It’s her personal opinion, and I don’t wish to comment on that. I’d prefer to discuss the medical aspects. Such complications can occur and are not uncommon. They are completely reversible.”

Dr. Sai went on to clarify, “After reviewing her videos, I suspect that there may have been an issue during her botox application. This isn’t a significant complication but rather a minor one, which can happen with any injector. If botox migrates to a nearby muscle due to facial movement, this can lead to an uneven appearance when she speaks, as observed in some of the videos circulating online.”

Furthermore, he urged celebrities to view discussions about their cosmetic procedures not as scrutiny but as an opportunity to promote awareness about aesthetic treatments. “While it might seem unfair, these public figures can raise awareness among the public about potential issues that can arise. If complications occur with celebrities, it serves as a reminder that similar situations can happen to anyone, and importantly, that these issues can be corrected.”

Dr. Sai also highlighted the positive aspect of public figures discussing cosmetic procedures, citing examples such as Rajkummar Rao openly sharing his experience with chin fillers. He noted that previous generations had limited knowledge about such treatments, but with celebrities freely discussing them, younger audiences can gain both insights and awareness of the associated risks and benefits. He concluded, “My intention was to raise awareness about these procedures in a constructive way.”
