Domino’s Expands Menu with Milkshakes in Japan
In an intriguing twist for fans of the well-known pizza chain, Domino’s has introduced milkshakes to its offerings, although accessing them might be a bit tricky.
When contemplating Domino’s, it’s easy to solely associate it with pizza. Surprisingly, the brand has diversified its menu to include milkshakes, which many may not be aware of.
In July, a temporary shake stand opened in the trendy Omotesando district of Tokyo, dedicated exclusively to milkshakes, with no pizza available. However, this pop-up experience was short-lived and quickly closed its doors.
Many may not realize that milkshakes have actually found a permanent spot on the menu at Domino’s Japan. This unique addition allows customers to complement their pizza with a refreshing shake.
According to Sora News, these milkshakes are crafted without any added water, proudly featuring a blend of milk and ice cream that preserves their deeply satisfying flavor from the first sip to the last.
Currently, there are eight delicious shake varieties available, including:
Domino’s Shake Cassis – A delightful creation made in-store, featuring a harmonious blend of blackcurrant’s tartness and creamy milk.
Domino’s Shake Apple – Bursting with applesauce, this rich shake delivers a delightful apple flavor.
Domino’s Shake Mango – A premium treat that showcases mango flavoring, garnished with real mango and whipped cream.
Domino’s Shake Real Strawberry – Made from real strawberries, this shake is also available with whipped cream for added indulgence.
Domino’s Shake Happy Milk – A creamy delight that showcases a robust dairy aroma, also offered with a whipped cream option.
Domino’s Shake Rich Chocolate – A sweet delight mixed with generous amounts of chocolate sauce and available with whipped cream for those craving extra sweetness.
The shakes are priced at approximately 790 yen, or about $5.25, with the menu regularly updated to include new flavors and innovations.
Domino’s is not alone in expanding its drink menu; this August, Taco Bell also surprised customers with a selection of beverages that could give Starbucks a run for its money.
