The song, featuring the London-based rapper Kairo Keyz, marks the latest musical endeavor of comedian and cultural commentator Druski.
Druski has ventured into the hip-hop arena with the release of “No More Social Media,” collaborating with South London artist Kairo Keyz. The two artists exchange hard-hitting verses over an intense beat produced by Muddy. While Druski is widely recognized for his comedic talents, his performance on this track illustrates a serious dedication to music, as he delivers lines that carry weight and insight, such as, “I speak truth, I don’t need no Bluetooth speaker. We play outside, we got the inside, pigs dem picking up ruggers.”
Kairo responds with a clever nod to Ugliest Rapper Alive, the victor of Druski’s inaugural season of Coulda Been House, rhyming, “I can’t be the ugliest rapper alive, I just put 10 (thousand) on my dental.” This track follows Druski’s debut single, “Standin On Bihness,” featuring established artists Snoop Dogg and DJ Drama, showcasing the multifaceted nature of his artistic abilities. Not only is Druski adept at crafting humorous skits, but his true brilliance lies in capturing nuanced, real-life details, a facet that clearly informs his musical work and aligns with the prevalent styles of the U.K. rap scene.
