EA FC 25’s Dark Mode Bug Leaves Players in the Dark
As EA FC 25 approaches its full launch, players who have gained early access are diving into the latest iteration of Ultimate Team. However, some have stumbled upon a peculiar bug: a dark mode that turns the game display completely black.
Streamer NickRTFM experienced this glitch firsthand while attempting the Chip Shot challenge. After failing the challenge, Nick found himself confronted with a black screen upon his retry, rendering the gameplay nearly impossible.
Despite the dark screen, he still had access to the heads-up display, showcasing the mini-map, score, timer, player names, and even the objectives for the challenge. However, the absence of any visual gameplay made the experience frustrating.
Reacting to the situation, Nick voiced his disbelief: “Oh hell nah, another year of this?” He humorously lamented the bug, questioning EA, “y’all had one job man, one job bro, what is going on here?” The glitch required a simple fix, as he was able to restore normalcy by navigating through the game settings.
After resolving the issue, he joked about the absurdity of the encounter, stating, “I can’t believe the black screen bro, on day one man come on,” while finishing the challenge.
