Nina Thomas Faces Criminal Charges for Alleged Fraud Against Earl Thomas

Nina Thomas, the estranged spouse of Earl Thomas, has been charged with multiple criminal offenses this week, following allegations that she orchestrated a scheme to defraud the former Seattle Seahawks star out of millions of dollars.

According to court documents acquired by TMZ Sports, federal prosecutors assert that Nina’s illicit activities began in September 2021, not long after she filed for divorce from Earl in 2020.

Authorities allege that Nina, along with an unidentified accomplice, engaged in a conspiracy to secretly siphon money and assets from Earl. The duo reportedly transferred funds into bank accounts they controlled without Earl’s consent.

The allegations indicate that Nina and her co-conspirator unlawfully acquired over $2.7 million from the 35-year-old former NFL player, using some of the money for personal expenditures, including a set of breast implants and a luxurious Hermes Birkin handbag.

An arrest warrant for Nina was issued on December 13, and she was apprehended three days later. Although she was released shortly after her arrest, she now faces several serious charges, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, and aggravated identity theft.

Nina and Earl were married in April 2016 in a grand ceremony attended by notable figures such as Russell Wilson and Ciara.

However, their marriage took a tumultuous turn several years later, marred by explosive incidents including allegations that Nina brandished a loaded firearm in a heated confrontation, purportedly after catching him in an act of infidelity.

Despite her current legal troubles, Nina, who has transitioned into a career as a real estate agent, continues to be active on her Instagram account. However, she has not publicly commented on the serious allegations surrounding her arrest.
