Easton Town Center Implements Paid Parking in Select Areas
Beginning Sunday, visitors to the Easton Town Center will notice a shift in parking regulations as management announces the introduction of paid parking in seven specific lots of the outdoor retail complex.
The changes will affect several parking areas, including the lots adjacent to Barnes & Noble, the southwest covered garage associated with Crate & Barrel, the lot designated for Life Time Fitness, the parking area for Piada and Fado, the Apple lot, and two smaller lots located on the mall’s western side. Parking will be facilitated through the ParkMobile app to streamline the payment process.
According to statements from an Easton representative, the decision to expand the Easton Preferred Park program to these surface lots is designed to cater to the needs of patrons. The spokesperson highlighted that the new mobile payment system aims to enhance the turnover rate of cars, thereby increasing the availability of parking during peak visitation periods. This change is expected to significantly benefit guests seeking convenient parking solutions.
Despite these updates, a significant portion of Easton’s parking will remain complimentary. Approximately 90% of the total parking spaces—around 7,000 spots—will continue to be free of charge, providing ample options for visitors.
