FanDuel’s “Kick of Destiny” Returns with Manning Brothers
The third edition of FanDuel’s highly anticipated “Kick of Destiny” took place on Sunday, showcasing a fresh lineup, notably featuring NFL icons Peyton and Eli Manning.
After Rob Gronkowski previously influenced the outcome with a decisive kick that determined the fate of many fans’ bonus bets, this installment shifted the focus to the Manning brothers. Peyton kicked things off with a challenging 25-yard attempt, but his first effort veered left and fell short of the mark.

Following Peyton’s attempt, Eli Manning took the stage, with only needing to convert his kick for a win. Unfortunately for the Giants’ legend, his attempt was even more off-target than his brother’s, as he fell significantly short of the football uprights.
Peyton was then given a second opportunity, this time from a shorter distance of 20 yards. However, his kick encountered the right upright, causing disappointment among the fans. The atmosphere shifted when Eli, cheered on by the enthusiastic crowd chanting his name, stepped up for his own 20-yard attempt.
With precision, Eli executed the kick perfectly, splitting the uprights and delivering a memorable moment for the audience. “This feels unbelievable. We earned this moment. I was grinding, been working so hard, and finally, to be a kicker, it just feels right,” Eli expressed, noting that he had pulled a muscle during the contest.
Eli Manning was also spotted attending Michael Rubin’s Super Bowl party in New Orleans on February 8, 2025, enjoying the festivities surrounding the big game.
