Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Anticipate Parenthood
In just a few days, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will embark on a new journey as parents. Anticipation is high as reports indicate that Deepika is expected to give birth later this month. As the couple prepares for their first child, Ranveer has made his return to Mumbai amid the nesting phase.
On Wednesday evening, the actor was captured by the paparazzi upon his arrival at the Mumbai airport. A video circulating on social media features Ranveer exiting the airport, dressed casually in a white hoodie paired with matching pyjamas, and topped with a long black coat. Completing his look, he wore a complimentary cap, showcasing his signature style.
Earlier this year in February, Deepika and Ranveer publicly shared the exciting news of their pregnancy. A recent report indicated that they are likely to welcome their baby on September 28. A source close to the couple mentioned, “Deepika and Ranveer are looking forward to this new chapter in their lives and are busy preparing their home for the arrival of their child. If everything goes as planned, she will deliver at a hospital in South Bombay. For now, the soon-to-be mother is savoring her well-deserved break from work.”
Additionally, it has been revealed that Deepika plans to take maternity leave until March 2025. The insider stated, “Her time off will extend until March of next year. Following that, she is expected to dive straight into filming the sequel of Kalki, alongside esteemed actors Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas.”
On the work front, Ranveer Singh is set to make an appearance in the upcoming film Singham Again. He is also gearing up for the much-anticipated Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar, which will feature Kiara Advani in a key role.
