Lifetime’s Upcoming Thriller: Held Hostage at My House
Lifetime has announced the acquisition of the psychological thriller Held Hostage at My House, previously titled Blunt, with exclusive first look photos being revealed ahead of its premiere. This highly anticipated film is set to debut on September 7.
The plot centers around a single mother, portrayed by Amy Smart, who finds herself trapped in a vacation rental. As she navigates this harrowing experience, she must gather clues to uncover the identity of her assailant. The cast also features notable names including Matt Davis, Billy Zane, Ne-Yo, and Greer Grammer, adding depth to the story with their performances.
Billy Zane, a familiar face to audiences for his roles in various films, including the iconic Titanic, marks his second appearance in a Lifetime film with Held Hostage at My House. He was recently featured in Devil On Campus: The Larry Ray Story, which premiered in June 2024.
The film is the creation of Anna Elizabeth James, who takes the role of both writer and director. Alongside her production team at Kiss and Tale Productions, which includes Richard Switzer, Julie Gause, Paul Luba, and Chad Verdi Jr., James aims to deliver a gripping viewing experience. The executive production team features Larry Galluzzo and Tim Bien.
