Palak Tiwari debuted with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in 2023.
Palak Tiwari, daughter of actress Shweta Tiwari, embarked on her acting career in the film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, starring alongside Salman Khan. At just 24, she has gained significant insights into managing the complexities of her burgeoning career alongside her personal life. In a recent conversation, she opened up about her journey, sharing the growth and lessons she has encountered along the way.
During an interview with Bombay Times, Palak described her acting debut as “daunting.” She candidly expressed her initial feelings of uncertainty: “In a room full of legends, I wondered—what’s my point here?”
Yet, this feeling was quickly replaced by a valuable realization. “I understood that my purpose was to absorb knowledge. The experience has profoundly shaped me as an actor, and I will always be thankful for it,” she added.
Elaborating on her time with Salman Khan, Palak highlighted the important lessons she learned from the superstar. She mentioned that he taught her to embrace a balance between work and youthful energy, humorously recounting, “Party till 5 am, shoot at 7 am.”

Palak also disclosed that her mother, Shweta, serves as her most critical advisor and guide. “She’s my filter. When I have feelings about my performance that I can’t articulate, she puts those thoughts into words,” Palak shared. “Talking to her sometimes feels like conversing with a future version of myself. Even though I might be more vain and materialistic, we experienced similar thoughts at our ages. Her insights are invaluable to me.”
Regarding her bond with Salman, the two have shared a connection since Palak was a child. This history dates back to when Shweta Tiwari participated in Bigg Boss 4, and little Palak would visit the set to support her mother. At the trailer launch for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman fondly reminisced about their first encounter: “I worked with her mother on Bigg Boss. She had come to drop her off at the house. I remember Palak was eight years old then. That was the first time I met her.”
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also features a robust cast, including Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, and Vinali Bhatnagar in pivotal roles.
