She now faces dual charges: one for indecency with a child that involves sexual contact and another concerning an improper relationship with an educator. A bond of $50,000 has been set, contributing $25,000 for each count, with her upcoming court date rescheduled for April 28.

Further, Fort Bend ISD expressed in a statement to FOX 26 that they acted swiftly and noted that Hernandez resigned in lieu of being terminated during the investigation conducted in September.
