Frank Marzullo Departs Fox 19 After Nearly Two Decades
Frank Marzullo, the well-known morning meteorologist at Fox 19, has announced his departure from the station after an impressive 18-year tenure.
In a recent post on X, Marzullo shared that he will be leaving to explore new opportunities and dedicate more time to his family.
“After 18 years, I have decided to leave Fox 19 to pursue other opportunities,” Marzullo stated. He expressed a deep affection for Cincinnati, mentioning that his family loves living there, and emphasized that this transition will allow him to spend quality time with them.
In an interview with The Enquirer, Marzullo refrained from delving into specific plans but confirmed his intention to remain in the Cincinnati area and conveyed his best wishes to his colleagues at the station.
As of Tuesday evening, Marzullo’s name was noticeably absent from Fox 19’s staff page, having been listed just the day before, an archived version of the page reveals.
Marzullo served as the morning meteorologist for Fox 19’s First Alert Weather team, beginning his workday at 4:30 a.m. weekdays. Additionally, he hosted the morning Extra News show for 14 years, airing from 9 to 11 a.m.
Originally from Cleveland, Marzullo joined the Fox 19 team in August 2007 following a seven-year stint at WFMJ in Youngstown, Ohio, where he was the weekday morning and noon weather forecaster. He also has a year of forecasting experience from WTAP, the NBC station in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
A request for comment has been made to Chris Gegg, Fox 19’s news director. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
