Frazer Clarke Dominates Ebenezer Tetteh in First-Round Finish
Frazer Clarke made a triumphant return to the ring, decisively defeating Ebenezer Tetteh in their heavyweight matchup, which ended in the first round. Clarke’s powerful performance was a refreshing comeback after the defeat he suffered at the hands of Fabio Wardley, during their rematch for the British heavyweight title in October.
The match began with Tetteh displaying some aggression, landing an early left hook before Clarke seized control of the bout. Clarke, asserting his presence in the center of the ring, soon landed a series of impactful punches, including a devastating overhand right that rocked Tetteh and prompted the referee to intervene at 1:52 of the first round.
Clarke’s quick victory was notable as he finished Tetteh even faster than heavyweight contenders like Dillian Whyte and Daniel Dubois, who both struggled longer against the Ghanaian in past bouts. Despite his defeat, Tetteh was vociferous in his protests and was seen confronting the referee as he left the ring in frustration.
Reflecting on his performance, Clarke expressed satisfaction with his display, saying, “I knew it was a big shot… I’ve been crying out for that type of performance since my debut. That feels amazing.” He emphasized his readiness to fight again, expressing interest in taking on the winner of the upcoming British title rematch between David Adeleye and Jeamie TKV.
Clarke declared, “Going forward from this I’m going to be looking to take people out and it’s as simple as that. You best believe it, Big Frazer’s back.”
Tyler Denny Bounces Back with Win Over Elvis Ahorgah
In another highlight of the evening, Tyler Denny rebounded from a challenging knockout loss by outpointing Elvis ‘Soldier’ Ahorgah over a ten-round match. Denny, who was seeking redemption after a disappointing defeat to Hamzah Sheeraz, exhibited sharp skills and clever tactics throughout the fight.
Denny demonstrated superior foot speed and timing, effectively evading Ahorgah’s advances while landing consistent combinations of hooks. Although Ahorgah stepped up his aggression in the sixth round, a cuffing right hook by Denny sent him to the canvas, prompting the referee to initiate a count. Despite Ahorgah’s attempts to rally in the final rounds, Denny maintained control and secured a significant 97-92 victory.
Troy Coleman Stages Comeback Against Bradley Goldsmith
There was excitement during the Midlands Area middleweight championship fight, where Troy Coleman pulled off an impressive comeback against Bradley Goldsmith. Coleman, facing adversity after enduring heavy punches in a gripping contest, managed to turn the tide dramatically in the later rounds.
After enduring a barrage from Goldsmith in the sixth, Coleman struck back with a powerful uppercut just as the round concluded, which sent Goldsmith down although the referee did not count it. Coleman then pressed his advantage in the seventh round, ultimately forcing the referee to stop the fight as Goldsmith was unable to recover.
