Upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge Expected to Impress with Advanced Features

Recent leaks indicate that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge may come equipped with titanium bezels and the newly introduced Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2. Notably, Corning has just launched the first generation of Gorilla Glass Ceramic a month ago, and this flagship is reportedly adopting its second-generation variant.

Rumored specifications reveal that the S25 Edge could measure just 5.8mm in thickness and weigh approximately 163g. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and feature an impressive 200MP camera.

Samsung has been gradually providing hints about the Galaxy S25 Edge, building anticipation for this high-end Android device. Early indications suggest that the phone could be unveiled on May 13 during a special Unpacked event, with a worldwide release set for May 30. As additional details emerge, they contribute to a more complete picture of the Galaxy S25 Edge’s specifications.

Notable leaker Evan ‘evleaks’ Blass recently shared what appears to be a leaked marketing document highlighting key features of the Galaxy S25 Edge. According to this information, the device will sport a slim profile, complemented by a “pro-grade” 200MP camera, an “all-day” battery, and sophisticated AI capabilities. The inclusion of a titanium bezel and Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the front panel adds a layer of intrigue to the device’s design.

Corning’s latest offering, the Gorilla Glass Ceramic, was designed to enhance both strength and resilience, though comparisons with their other products, like Gorilla Armor 2 (which features on the Galaxy S25 Ultra) and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 (found in the Galaxy S25 Plus), remain unclear. It is surprising that leaks suggest an evolution to a second-generation variant so soon after the initial launch.

Regarding price, there are indications that the cost of the S25 Edge may be comparable to that of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, making it a premium option for consumers. As the launch date approaches, more information is expected to clarify what Samsung has planned for the Galaxy S25 Edge.
