Garcelle Beauvais Opens Up About Busy Summer and New Projects
Garcelle Beauvais, a prominent star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” is preparing for an eventful summer as she juggles multiple commitments.
In a recent interview with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi, Garcelle discussed her latest role in the Lifetime film “Terry McMillan Presents: Tempted by Love” and shared her thoughts on the upcoming season of “RHOBH.”
As a dedicated single mother of three, Beauvais is currently filming the 14th season of the show, which is expected to be filled with intriguing dynamics and emotional moments. She stated, “Many of the women are experiencing significant life changes, which naturally influences their interactions within the group. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun. Friendships have evolved, and I’m feeling optimistic about this season.”
Beauvais also addressed her friend’s recent challenges, specifically regarding Dorit Kemsley’s separation. Reflecting on her own past experiences with divorce, she expressed empathy, saying, “We’ve kept in contact since wrapping up filming. It’s a tough situation; I know from personal experience that going through a divorce with young kids is anything but easy. I hope they can prioritize their children as they navigate this.”
Love on the Horizon?
When asked about her dating prospects this season, Garcelle replied, “I would love to date when the moment is right. Right now, my plate is quite full, and quite frankly, anyone in my life may find it difficult to keep up. However, I am open to the idea and once things ease up, I’m eager to get back out there. I’m not taking the Bumble approach like Sutton, but I’ll find my own way.”
In “Tempted by Love,” Beauvais’ character, Ava, encounters a romantic interest significantly younger than herself, leading to intriguing questions about relationships spanning age differences. When queried about her openness to dating a younger partner, she responded thoughtfully, “I’m not actively seeking someone 20 years younger, but if a meaningful connection develops, I wouldn’t disregard the possibility. It all boils down to finding the right fit for my life and situation.”
However, she humorously clarified that dating someone in their 30s would be off the table, considering that she has a 32-year-old son. She quipped, “I’m still raising boys. I don’t need another one!”
Viewers can catch “Tempted by Love” when it premieres on August 17 on Lifetime, promising a captivating storyline filled with romance and drama.
