The ongoing tension between Ekta Kapoor and Ram Kapoor escalates as Ram’s wife, Gautami, responds to Ekta’s comments on Ram’s weight loss.
Gautami Kapoor, wife of the prominent actor Ram Kapoor, has recently entered the fray in the escalating conflict between the two Kapoors.
Earlier this month, Ekta Kapoor appeared to take a jab at Ram in a video, following his denial of using Ozempic, a medication known for its weight management capabilities. While Ram opted for a more measured response, Gautami chose to address the comments head-on.
In a recent Instagram video, Gautami cleverly mirrored Ekta’s earlier remark. She sarcastically queried, “Should I embark on an anti-inflammatory diet? Should I take Mounjaro? Should I take Ozempic, or perhaps all of them? Or should I simply keep quiet? But I believe gym workouts are sufficient for me.”
She further took a swipe at Ekta’s popular show, *Bade Achhe Lagte Hain*, quipping, “Kyunki humein bade nahi, chhote hi achhe lagte hain.”
In the caption accompanying her video, Gautami stated, “Jisse jo pasand ho… use woh karne do (Let people do what they like)… live and let live… what holds significance is health, happiness, and peace.” She included hashtags such as #nojudgement, #onlygoodvibe, and #livelifekingsize.
Ram Kapoor’s remarkable weight loss has captured public attention and ignited questions surrounding the use of Ozempic. Addressing these rumors, Ram clarified in a separate video, emphasizing that his transformation was achieved through determined efforts in fitness.
However, shortly after his clarification, Ekta Kapoor seemed to make a veiled reference to Ram’s situation. In her own video, she remarked, “What should I do? I’ve put on weight. Should I consider an anti-inflammatory diet? Mounjaro? Ozempic? All of it? Keep quiet? Or just embrace it, as I like myself just fine?” Her post was titled “Ozempic ho jaye,” suggesting some levity amid the tension.
The phrase “bade hi acche lagte hain” led many to speculate that she was indirectly referencing Ram Kapoor.
The friction between Ram and Ekta has been brewing long before the Ozempic remarks. It traces back to a controversial interview where Ram noted that an intimate scene between him and Sakshi Tanwar in *Bade Achhe Lagte Hain* was orchestrated by Ekta herself.
Following Ram’s comments, Ekta seemingly retaliated with a cryptic post, suggesting professional boundaries had been overstepped. She stated, “Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up! False information and skewed stories can only last until I speak… but there is dignity in silence.”
