Gizelle Bryant Elevates Dating on ‘Love Hotel’

Gizelle Bryant is transforming the dating experience into a lavish affair with her latest venture on the premiere episode of Love Hotel.

In a standout moment, the star from The Real Housewives of Potomac, at the age of 54, selected Jason “Jay” Bramble for the first one-on-one date of the season. Their culinary journey began with light appetizers followed by a lavish tequila tasting, culminating in a shocking taco surprise, each priced at a staggering $25,000.

“Allow me to present the finest taco in the world,” the server proclaimed, leaving both Gizelle and Jay astonished. Gizelle could hardly believe what she heard, exclaiming, “I don’t believe that.”

As the server described the taco’s gourmet ingredients, including exquisite lobster and A5 Kobe beef from Japan, Gizelle’s enthusiasm was clear: “I see caviar! Jesus Christ, I’m about to fall in love tonight, okay? Caviar is my jam!”

The taco was even adorned with a layer of gold leaf, prompting Jay to joke, “It’s so beautiful you don’t even want to eat it,” before indulging in the extravagant bite with glee. “I can get used to this!”

After savoring the luxurious dish, Gizelle reflected on whether the extravagant tacos made her feel “richer already.” She confidently remarked, “I feel rich. This is rich b—- walking — actually this is rich b—- eating!”

During their date, Gizelle also discussed the traits she seeks in a partner. “Transparency, accountability, and sexually proficient,” she outlined, garnering agreement from Jay on these essential qualities. However, she expressed some uncertainty about his compatibility with her.

Gizelle candidly shared her internal struggle regarding her attraction to Jay: “So Jay’s in the middle of like, ‘do I want to bang him or do I just want to get to know him better?’ Because yes, he’s attractive, but he’s just not turning on juices for Giselle to feel like, ‘This is it! Let me get it on.’ He’s just a little boring.”

Bravo’s Love Hotel features eligible singles competing for the affections of four prominent figures from the Real Housewives franchise, including Bryant, Luann de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York City, Shannon Storms Beador from Real Housewives of Orange County, and Ashley Darby from Real Housewives of Potomac.

Throughout her journey, Gizelle has been open about her romantic history, including her complicated relationship with her ex-husband, Jamal H. Bryant.

The couple was married from 2002 to 2009 but separated after Jamal’s affair. Despite their differences, they maintained a positive co-parenting arrangement, especially when Gizelle and the children relocated to Potomac.

In 2019, Gizelle and Jamal attempted a reconciliation but ultimately parted ways again in 2021.

Reflecting on their breakup, Gizelle remarked, “Listen, we were a victim of the pandemic. I don’t think any long-distance relationship can really withstand not seeing each other. But is he still in my life? Is he still one of my best friends? Absolutely.”

Before joining the cast of Love Hotel, Gizelle was rumored to be dating fellow Bravolebrity Jason Cameron. The duo began their relationship in 2023 but characterized it as “casual and fun and easy.”
