2024 Gotham Awards: User Predictions and Outcomes
Celebrating success in our prediction challenge, we extend our congratulations to AZOUS, who achieved an impressive score of 75.00% in forecasting the winners of the 2024 Gotham Awards during Monday night’s event held in New York City. Although tied with 24 other participants, AZOUS distinguished themselves by accumulating a superior point score of 23,281, largely thanks to their strategic use of two Super Bets, each worth 500 points.
In total, nearly 1,100 users worldwide took part in predicting the winners across various film categories, with AZOUS successfully guessing six out of eight winners. Among the notable victories was RaMell Ross for Best Director for his work on “Nickel Boys,” and Clarence Maclin for Best Supporting Performance in “Sing Sing,” showcasing the unpredictable nature of the evening.
