PlayStation Plus frequently updates its Game Catalog and Classics Catalog, adding a variety of titles each month. However, this also means that several games are removed from the service periodically. Recently, Sony confirmed that a number of notable titles will soon be leaving PS Plus, including popular games like Grand Theft Auto V, Ghostrunner, and Infamous Second Son, alongside some classic first-party titles from the PS3 era.

Upcoming Departures from PS Plus

In May, over 20 games will be exiting the PS Plus service, coinciding with the addition of new titles to the Game Catalog and Classics Catalog. According to Video Games Chronicle, Sony has provided a comprehensive list of titles slated to leave, which can be found in the ‘Last chance to play’ section of the PS Plus app on PlayStation 5. Among these, fans of Insomniac Games’ Resistance series will find Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 on the departure list. Additionally, Sucker Punch’s Infamous Second Son will no longer be available after next month.

In addition to these first-party titles, several well-known third-party games, such as Grand Theft Auto V, MotoGP 24, and Batman: Arkham Knight, will also be leaving the service. The removal of some PS VR2 games, available only to Premium/Deluxe tier subscribers, adds to the list of departures. Here’s the complete inventory of games exiting PS Plus in May:

  • Grand Theft Auto V (PS5, PS4)

Earlier this month, Sony also announced new additions to the PS Plus Game Catalog for April, headlined by Hogwarts Legacy, an action-adventure offering from Warner Bros. Games. Notably, two titles launched day one on the service this month: the roguelike puzzle game Blue Prince and the narrative adventure Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2. These new entries will be available to PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members.
