Ned Luke, known for his role as Michael De Santa in GTA 5, has humorously dismissed a new fan theory regarding GTA 6. This theory suggests that his character’s daughter, Tracey De Santa, may return in the upcoming installment of the franchise.
As fans eagerly await more information about GTA 6, it has been over 500 days since Rockstar provided a formal preview of the game. The initial trailer has sparked intense scrutiny, with dedicated gamers analyzing its content for clues and insights, reflecting a collective anticipation that borders on obsession.
Theories about GTA 6 are cropping up regularly, ranging from speculations about release timelines to predictions on upcoming trailers. However, a variety of these theories tilt towards the bizarre, prompting reactions not just from fans but also from past contributors to the series. This situation has emerged once more in the recent discourse, with Luke stepping in to clarify the situation.
Ned Luke Addresses New GTA 6 Theory
The trailer for GTA 6 features a range of NPCs engaged in humorous antics, contributing to the rich atmosphere of the fictional town of Leonida. Among these characters, one blonde figure, notably covered in mud towards the trailer’s conclusion, has intrigued many in the GTA community. Speculation arose that this character might resemble Tracey De Santa given their similar hair and facial structure.
Could the iconic character of Michael’s daughter be heading to Leonida for a new saga? While this notion sparked interest, Luke was quick to quash the theory before it gained further traction.
In a succinct response on X (formerly Twitter), Luke utilized a facepalm emoji, effectively voiding the speculation surrounding the character’s potential context in the upcoming game.
Given Rockstar’s historical tendency to shift away from established character arcs, it seems unlikely that any major characters from GTA 5 will return in the single-player mode of GTA 6.
However, in a conversation with Dexerto earlier this year, Luke hinted at the possibility of his character appearing in GTA Online. “You never know what Rockstar is going to do,” he remarked. “If you look at GTA Online, Michael hasn’t made a return. Perhaps he’s due for a final appearance in a DLC, or maybe he will be featured in GTA 6 Online, or perhaps not at all.”
