NYT Strands today (game #420) – the answers
The solutions for today’s Strands puzzle, game #420, are:
MASKEAR, PLUGS, MELATONIN, MEDITATION, MOUTHGUARD
SPANGRAM: BEDTIME
My rating: Moderate
My score: 1 hint
My experience began smoothly with MASK and EARPLUGS; however, I faced challenges later on.
Despite receiving hints and identifying several letters for MELATONIN, connecting the remaining words proved difficult.
One might argue the theme and spangram could be seen as misleading; what was truly sought were sleep aids for many who find it hard to drift off.
I belong to the increasing number of individuals striving to enhance their sleep quality. I monitor everything from my pillow measurements to maintaining a yearly app subscription for a nightly 10-minute MEDITATION, and I have earplugs, a mask, and aromatherapy spray at the ready if sleep eludes me.

Yesterday’s NYT Strands answers (Saturday, April 26, game #419)
POWDER, BRONZER, PRIMER, CONCEALER, FOUNDATION
