HMD Global Introduces the HMD Key: Affordable 4G Smartphone

HMD Global has officially launched the HMD Key in selected markets, targeting consumers seeking a budget smartphone with essential features. This device is equipped with 4G connectivity and operates on the Android 14 Go edition, optimized for entry-level performance. The HMD Key is powered by a Unisoc 9832E chipset, ensuring adequate processing capabilities for everyday tasks.

Pricing and Availability

The HMD Key is priced at GBP 59 (approximately Rs. 6,300) and is currently available in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The company has not made any announcements regarding the phone’s launch in India or other regions. Consumers can choose from two distinct color options: Icy Blue and Midnight Black.

Featuring a 6.52-inch display, the HMD Key offers a resolution of 576 x 1,280 pixels. The screen supports a 60Hz refresh rate and provides up to 460 nits of peak brightness, making it reasonably viewable in various lighting conditions.
