Huawei Prepares for March Launch of New Pura Series and Foldable Phone
Huawei has announced an event set for March 20, where it is anticipated that the company will unveil the new Pura series, previously known as the P series. Alongside this, the tech giant plans to introduce a new foldable device, which reportedly features a 3:2 or 16:10 aspect ratio display.
This upcoming device was first showcased by Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei, who shared a video on social media using the foldable. This production is generating significant excitement as it is touted to revolutionize the foldable phone sector.
There is speculation that this new foldable might belong to the Pura lineup. Notably, the “Pocket” branding, which has been associated with earlier models, has not been referenced by Yu. Instead, the new device is seen as an advancement from the Pocket 2. It is expected to resemble the size of an iPad mini when opened, featuring a 6.28-inch foldable screen along with a 3.48-inch cover display.
Richard Yu, known for his strategic and attention-grabbing announcements, has been the source of numerous leaks regarding Huawei’s products. It is likely that as the event date approaches, additional details will surface, further heightening public interest ahead of the formal announcement on Thursday.
