Hugh Jackman is setting the stage for an exciting debut! In anticipation of his upcoming concert series at Radio City Music Hall, the multi-talented actor and singer recently shared a glimpse of his preparations on Instagram. The snapshot, posted on January 17, captures Jackman as he diligently rehearses for the much-anticipated performance.

In the candid photo, the 56-year-old star is seen in comfortable sweat attire, practicing what appears to be a dance routine among a talented team of choreographers and dancers, including Ashley Wallen and Mishay Petronelli, in a rehearsal studio.

Jackman expressed his excitement in the post, writing, “One week til opening! #fromnewyorkwithlove #1/24/25,” as he prepares for the launch of his concert series titled “From New York, with Love,” which kicks off on January 24, 2025. The series includes a total of 24 shows scheduled throughout the year.

The actor initially announced these performances back in October 2023. At that time, Jackman collaborated with his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Ryan Reynolds in a humorous video, discussing the next step in his career. In this lighthearted clip, Jackman invited Reynolds to one of his concerts, only to clarify that his friend would not be joining him on stage. “This is my time,” Jackman humorously declared, emphasizing the focus on his own performances.

As highlighted in a press release, Jackman’s concerts will feature a selection of music from various productions and films he has been a part of, including hits from The Boy from Oz, The Greatest Showman, and The Music Man. The performance dates extend from January through the entire year, with additional shows added after overwhelming demand.

Fans have eagerly followed Jackman’s preparations through his social media posts, including a December 20 video showcasing his rendition of “Ya Got Trouble” from The Music Man. This performance featured composer Patrick Vaccariello on piano. Jackman also shared snippets of himself performing “Valjean’s Soliloquy” from Les Misérables, further building anticipation among his audience. “Rehearse, Rehearse, Repeat,” he captioned one of the rehearsal videos.
