Devon Archer, Former Partner of Hunter Biden, May Receive Pardon from Trump
Devon Archer, known for his previous partnership with Hunter Biden, is reportedly on the verge of receiving a pardon from former President Donald Trump—an outcome Archer admits he never anticipated would be necessary. During an encounter at the NCAA wrestling championships in Philadelphia, Archer shared that Trump offered him “very encouraging words” regarding the potential pardon.
In an interview on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Archer disclosed that he had already heard from his attorney that Trump was contemplating this decision. “He had acknowledged that he was going to do it,” Archer noted, expressing his cautious optimism about the situation.
DEMOCRATS ON POSSIBLE BIDEN REEMERGENCE: ‘HIS TIME HAS PASSED’
Archer, who previously testified before the House Oversight Committee, gave insight into the influence wielded by the Biden family, particularly noting how Hunter frequently placed his father—then Vice President Joe Biden—on speakerphone during business meetings. He clarified that these conversations typically did not cover any substantive business issues.
Trump publicly supported Archer’s claims in a conversation with the New York Post, stating that Archer was unfairly treated by the Bidens. “They destroyed him like they tried to destroy a lot of people,” Trump expressed, emphasizing his belief that Archer deserved a “full pardon.”

Archer elaborated on the dynamics of the Biden family during his 2023 testimony, stating that Joe Biden often remarked that favors done for his son equated to lifelong friendships. This troubling revelation played a crucial role in the ongoing investigations led by House Republicans into alleged influence-peddling by the Biden family, which has included the initiation of an impeachment inquiry.
The House Oversight Committee reported that the Biden family and their associates amassed over $20 million from foreign entities from 2015 to 2017. A subsequent impeachment inquiry highlighted potential “impeachable offenses” committed by President Biden, although it refrained from definitively naming any criminal conduct.
Archer’s legal troubles began in 2018 when he, along with others, was found guilty of participating in a fraudulent scheme involving the sale of tribal bonds aimed at defrauding a Native American tribe. Though originally sentenced to a year and a day in prison, his conviction was later overturned only to be reinstated once again in 2020, with the Supreme Court recently having declined to hear his appeal.
In light of these developments, Archer remarked on the seeming paradox of his situation, indicating that he hadn’t expected to seek Trump’s pardon given prior assurances he received from the Biden family. “Once a Biden, always a Biden,” he quipped, encapsulating the complex relationship he had navigated with the family.
As the prospect of a pardon looms closer, Archer maintains that his legal struggles stemmed from being an “innocent victim” caught in a web of financial deception related to previous investments, stating, “I never did anything wrong.”
